Registration now open

Registration for the Conference is Open!

Join us as we we connect, share research and best practices, and problem solve to coordinate and prepare for a very different academic year ahead. Although the conference is free, we do ask attendees to register in advance. Even if you are unable to attend on the day of the event, registration ensures you will receive conference updates, access to the Zoom meeting rooms, and recordings after the event.

Check out the conference schedule and use SCHED to plan your conference experience: see who is presenting and attending, read descriptions of the sessions, and organize your day. This will also be a convenient way to access the Zoom meeting rooms for the conference sessions.

Watch for the conference program and Blitz Sessions in the coming weeks! We'll be posting the pre-recorded Blitz sessions in advance so you have plenty of time to review them and take advantage of Q&A time with the presenters during the conference.

Encore Catalog Will Be the OhioLINK Default

Last fall the User Services COI set July 1, 2020 as the date to transition the pass through in the OPAL catalog for OhioLINK from their Classic catalog to the Encore version. We're working on this change and once it is completed, selecting "Search OhioLINK" will take users to the Encore version of the OhioLINK catalog. The Classic catalog is still accessible within Encore (top right-hand corner of the screen).

OhioNET Launches Virtual Library Comic Convention
OhioNET announced this week the availability of over 4,000 comics, graphic novels, and children’s materials as part of an innovative program to make this content freely available to all residents of Ohio throughout the summer. This project is a collaboration with 9 other states and is intended to provide easy access to digital resources while also supporting statewide summer reading programs for all ages during the COVID-19 pandemic. More eBooks will be released throughout the summer from additional children’s, comic book, and science fiction publishers. The VLCC collection will be free to libraries and patrons in participating states through August 31.

Set Up Convenient Usage Report Delivery
EBSCO Connect’s Self-Service Virtual Assistant will help you request a report, delivered to your email address, by guiding you through a few quick questions. If you would prefer to run multiple reports using EBSCOadmin, but don’t remember your password, you can also use the Virtual Assistant to reset the password through an automated system.
